Outgoing Calls are now not free for JIO users!!!

Yes,you heard it right. Reliance Jio has published a notice on its official website  for every JIO user regarding outgoing calling charges. As per the notice users now  have to pay 6 paise per minute for every outgoing call which is made to a non Jio user. According to JIO, these charges are mandatory as per TRAI's rules. However these charges are in effect since 2017. Previously Jio was paying these charges from their own pocket, as they were the new player in the market. But now Reliance Jio has decided to charge these fees from their users.
Now, you need to buy an additional top up voucher for outgoing calls to non jio users. However your existing jio plans will remain active.
