We all are connected with friends and family on various platforms through our mobiles phones, PCs, smart watches and other smart gadgets which helps us to connect to people about whom we car but are not around us. But do you know, these platforms can give access to intruders who can exploit your data in many different ways. These intruders may be a single person, or a group, or company who can use your data for their benefits. Recently, global tech giant Facebook accused for misusing users data without their users knowledge, which arises many doubts and worries in the minds of users around the globe. So now everyone is concerned about keeping their privacy only to them, but how to do this. To do so you have to keep all these points in you mind whenever you connect to internet.

Smartphone users-
1) If you are a smartphone user then always keep in mind to give permissions to the apps, which is necessary only. For example Google Maps asks for Location permission which make sense but a Flashlight Application asking for Location Permission doesn't make any sense. Though, apps can used unnecessary granted permission to make your smartphones data vulnerable.

3) Regularly update your applications from Playstore and Appstore. Apps like UC browser, cheetah mobile apps were deleted from Playstore due to suspecious behaviour, So, Always check the apps installed in your phone in Playstore that the latest version of the app is available and is not violating Appstore or Playstore's regulations.
4) Check and update your smartphone OS especially Security updates. As old OS cannot protect your device from recent viruses and malwares.
